Cape Town Beach on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Cape Town Beach

Cape Town Beach by you.

A tidal Pool reflects the mountains at Camps Bay in Cape Town South Africa.

I had the gret honour to go on a Sunset shoot with Flickr Master photographer panorama_paul last night!

He was using this water to get some of his amazing shots of the Sun which is behind me in this shot, and he managed to get quite wet in the process ;-)

It was a pleasure to meet and talk to Paul, he is a wealth of knowledge, and his tips are always worth listening to.

I am away in Africa with very poor internet access, I will catch up with your streams when I can

Winchester's Buttercross on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Winchester's Buttercross

Winchester's Buttercross by you.

The Butter Cross, in Winchester's high street, is dated as early 15th Century.

It is described as a tall many-pinnacled cross on a stepped plinth with five octagonal steps. It was once used by countrymen to sell produce, hence the name Butter Cross. In 1770 it was sold off by the Paving Commissioners to a Mr Dummer. When he tried to remove it, the citizens of Winchester organised a small riot and preserved the monument for the City.
